Does any of You guys know the turns on these motors?

I'm looking for replacement motors for both  of these.

I do have a China standard 540 motors, but the axial play is to much.

I don't bother to open them, I rather go for better quality motors

I think it is just the standard 540 sized motor but I know that some models have a gearbox. If you have the common one than it won't. You also can get 540's that are made by better quality makers.

If the motor on my tire truer goes out I will probably replace it with a brush type RC car motor. I have several left over from way back in my RC days.

My plan is to swap them out wit something like this, but I don't want anything extremely Hot, but something close to the standard 540 motor.

Just make sure it's a crawler motor and it will be perfect

i've used the lower-class road course motors too with good effect, but i can't find one to see what turns it was, nor remember what the code word for them was. but if it fits the setup and isn't something hot, it should work. if you pull six Amps, you'll probably burn your tires.

crawlers weren't a thing back when i replaced mine, but it sounds like a good solution.

just my take. i'm no RC expert although i did play around a little. some of these darn things have like six turns on 'em! good grief. if i put one of those in, my tires would grow to like an inch in diameter! i could make a smaller drive pulley, but then it would probably slip, and the belt slack would look like the track on a tiger tank. never mind.

i've never seen an 80 turn motor.

Now I just need to find some kind of tubing to protect the motor from the tire dust!   :shok:  :laugh2:

That says 13 turns on the side of it. Stock RC was 27 turns. That's a really hot motor.

There is a huge selection of turns to select for this motor. I ordered with 55 turns.

You can very easily rewind that arm.
