As there was a 16D NASCAR, and Super NASCAR variant in the Super-Cuc, with the 36D NASCAR, I've called this the Super-duper NASCAR! Made me laugh anyway...

The on on the left look like the Cox NASCAR 36D, the one on the right is the Super NASCAR 36D. Their were 4 version of the NASCAR and the RPM of both versions is the same (34,000) but was "balanced", shimmed magnets, and stronger magnets but same armature as normal NASCAR. The balancing was called "cosmetic balancing" by PDL.

cosmetic balancing" would mean their balancing tolerances weren't very tight. That term today would apply to some of the balancing done in oriental factories. Sometimes, it looks more like it was done by machine gun rather than anything cosmetic.

No info, but I've got one just like it. I can tell you its aluminum.
I am not a doctor, but I played one as a child with the girl next door.

Guy's, that is the chassis from the AMT Fantom. It would have a purple 36D from the factory.
Didn't AMT use that chassis with another body as well?

Not that I am aware of. Unless you are thinking of the open wheel Bandido? which has a similar design but narrower chassis.
What I can tell you this AMT Fantom chassis fits a MPC or a Lancer Ford J car body, it would probably fit many others too.

The Bandido also used it like Martin says. I was used in AMT's unsuccessful "thingie" series.

Thank you Jeff, I did say "which has a similar design but narrower chassis." Not the same
