A neo magnet, Proslot Minimotor.

The significance of that type of chassis is that it has a bracket for screw in mounting, to avoid soldering in/heating up the can.

Yes, that style can.

The chassis you are referring is most likely a sidewinder, since all inlines, AFAIK, have holes for screw-in installation.

Sorta, except they have American made arms with 12, 20 or even hotter winds on them. Some have seen speeds of 90 mph plus with them.

I was just referring to the can style.

Open VR's (short for Velociraptor) have run .570, at something like 93-97mph, in a Marty M. funny car, on my strip.

We've also had one go .636 in an inline Promod, built by Bernard Powell, using a CR chassis.

A lot of bang for your buck.

I'm a bit confused.

Do you have Proslot polyneo or ceramic magnet motors with X12 arms, or Proslot VR/hard neo magnet motors with X12 arms?

That is not a VR motor, although anything will work for drag racing.

PS-4019 Velociraptor VR 12 “NEO” motor This motor uses the new PS-4017 “Neo” Euro MK1 setup with a specially made .500 diameter VR12 machine wound armature on our race proven Intruder blank and includes G7 brushes. This motor was built for the new wave of “NEO” F/C racing. Our testing using an 85 gram hardbody test car netted .720 ET’s @ 70+ MPH. Recommended starting gear ratio 14/52. Add $18.00 for double ball bearings. $70.95

I believe the only difference in the PS-4019 Velociraptor VR 12 and the PS-4002-12CPR is the magnet material. Jeff's has ceramic's or poly neos and the VR has hard neo's.
