Long-time HO racer Paul Shoemaker is a Slotblog member who posts here occasionally. I recently became aware of this two-part article he originally posted to his now-decommissioned Speed Inc Slot Car HO website in February 2010. The follow-up article appeared in February 2012. This is much more than just a 'How To' article; it is a tour de force of the history of the pancake HO cars and a fabulous reference of the many models and variations of these cars that were produced. I'll paste a single page here to illustrate this.
