Found in the San Fransisco area. Contains things from about '66 to '70.

If anyone wants extra pics I will be happy to.

Contains many very rare stickers including Choti, Mura, Champion, French, and more. The Mura "bodies designed by Choti" stickers is especially cool.

Things I need! DC196 brushes, rear tires, Simco brush spring, brass rod, brass pin tubing.

File_001 (19).jpeg

The box, the Mura is not a sticker but pinstriped on by a very talented William Johnston.

I am sure I can help with Simco brush spring, brass rod, brass pin tubing.

I will start putting a package together, got a job to do first.

Can you find a pic of the Simco brush spring?

Isaac, are you bidding on this box, or are you just wishing you owned some of its contents? I'm not interested in it, just curious. I have a Hoffman 1100 box.. Nice, but in my opinion, it's on the small side. It's too small to carry what you need to race at races. Mine was always stuffed full & I often took a plastic milk crate, plus a coiled 25' extension cord. I never carried more than two cars at a time. The rest of the space was taken up by parts & tools.                                                                                                        7

I bought it. It is a bit small but works. The cars are a bit large for the spaces but you can get them in. I was going to sell some of the stuff to make back my money but I made so much from Ulrich car that it made up for everything I paid for the box.

Bill I used to carry one of those vinyl attache cases with parts and tools in it and  a Hoffman with cars and controllers.   Still wasn't enough but  usually I could maintain and fix most of the guys cars when we were at the track,    I enjoyed carrying the old boxes.  Only a few  of the guys at the track even knew how old my boxes were.     I've had 5 different boxes and still have 3.   I had my father in laws   Hoffman but gave it to his youngest son a few years ago.   I had one of those knockoffs with the top that didn't open and I gave it to a friend.   I now have one box that can travel to a friends track and the other boxes are  just at my track full of cars.    I guess for many of us we are keeping the days alive when we were kids.   If only I had a couple guys that could maintain, build and want to race some ol Cox hard bodies or Classic thingies or Cuc's

Very cool find Isaac.  :victory: Thanks for sharing it with us.

The box and cars remind me of the Bay area slot car box I got from Dave Lenz (the younger brother of Bob Lenz the 60's rewound motor wizard):

Thanks for sharing Isaac!

Matt, my local track has NO vintage slot car racers but every time I bring some of mine they really like them so I can imagine they will like the box.

Martin, I saw that, great stuff but still too much money. Not enough complete cars.

Rick, I have been comparing mine to that a lot during the restoration and gathering process. There was an MRC Endura and a Classic Astro V in the box but the seller couldn't fit it so it got left out. It has been very helpful.

I'm glad it has been helpful Isaac. When I saw your cool box it reminded me of the Dave Lenz box.
