These were at The Slot Shop UT until we closed last April due to COVID. We will be reopening this summer, and have purchased a King, and a Canadian White flat track. Only have room for two.  For pics go to Slot car racing Utah.

Will take best offer on each.

Call Don at (801) 792-7973.

Donald, is your "Canadian White" the CNC track (flat road course) that was in Puyallup, WA, when Lee Gilbert and friends ran PNW AMCA races there? The track I'm speaking of replaced an American Black and was designed by a Canadian school teacher who crossed the border monthly to race with Lee's group. This school teacher, Wayne Halabroda, also designed the Outasight Mercedes and Bentley 1/24 scale bodies.

When the track in Puyallup closed, I think the track went to someone in Texas. I once knew the name of a Texas buyer, but not anymore.

The White was at Wade Raceway in Nampa, ID, for at least the last 10 yrs. I'll ask where it came from when I pick it up.

How are Dadd's tracks joined? Trying to gauge whether it would be possible to add additional straight sections to increase the lap length.

Have a care stretching a track as corner entry speeds will increase but the radii will be sized for the original straights.

Yes, I have raced on two tracks which were stretched and just were not as good as their initial configuration.

Hillclimb footprint is 16' x 36', Kinglman is 15' x 27'.

The Dadd's Kingleman is tongue and groove, three long bolts each section, braided in sections. Each straight, as it enters each curve, actually is slightly curved. Hard to explain but it's not made to add on to. I'm a builder, have routers, etc, and we had thought of lengthing a couple straights but they all start curving at each end!!! Weird.

Thanks,

Don

It’s a byproduct of the method used to cut the slots. Some call it “elliptical routing.” My King is the same. Many think it makes the tracks faster as it more closely matches a “real“ racing line.
