It was a fun night of racing at BAR as 7 racers braved the snow and cold weather to compete in the second monthly Womp and Super Nascar race.

In the Womp race saw Nick Traina break out to an early lead over joe Migliachio after 4 heats. Up by 9 laps ………….Joe wouldn't give up …...and as the final heat ended Joe took over first place and won by 1 lap.

Great race by all who participated.

WOMP RACE RESULTS

Joe Migliachio…………...253 laps

Nick Traina...…………….252 laps

Chris Devita……………..238 laps

Ralph Debra...…………..229 laps

Mike Reibman…………..204 laps

James Devita………….. 166 laps

Congratulations to James Devita who ran in his first race ………...and did a fine job.

Next up was Flexi Super 16 Nascar

Nick Traina took the early lead and never looked back. Chris Devita came out of semi retirement to give Nick a run for his money, But in the end it just wasn't enough.

Mitch Schulman ran his first race ………...and it wasn't a good one. Time to go back to the drawing board...……….and more practice. Talk about consistency.....Joe ran 253 laps in both races.

Always a good time when racing at Buzz A Rama.
Poor guy Mitch after the disastrous race he wound up not being able to find his cell phone and even worse locking his keys in the running car. He was trying to get a locksmith to come unlock and for him.

I would have never realized it was James first race oh, I just thought his car needed some attention.

To everybody who helped out.

Joseph Migliaccio. Karma it's a wonderful thing.

"Drive it like you're in it!!!"

"If everything feels under control... you are not going fast enough!"

Some people are like Slinkies... they're really good for nothing... but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

That was a fun time! I will definitely be back for more... Amusing how we had to have parking meter breaks.

Alleged amateur racer.
Mostly just play with lots of cars.
Able to maintain slot cars with a single bound.
Faster than a speeding Womp.
More powerful than a 36D.

Could you just keep plugging the meters, or were there meter maids around so you had to constantly keep moving your car from one space to another?

The most you can pay for is 2 hours in the parking meter machine. :)

Locally, they treat meter feeding the same as an expired meter. During warmer weather, meter maids are swarming everywhere, during the winter, not so much. But they still go out.
