I could not find a lot of info on the Cox Ford GT RTR, but what I did find shows no driver. Can anybody conform this?
These are the only pics I could find online.

This is the correct driver for that car. Comes up on eBay now and then.

Thanks Jairus, you are correct that is the driver for the Cox Ford GT kit. What I am referring too is the RTR car, which seems to have been sold with no driver.
When I restore my RTR GT I want to restore it as it would have been sold. I realize I could add the driver you show and add the nice decals. I am saving the paper numbers too. This is the way I bought this one.

Looking at pictures (the same as yours) I don't think it did. Here is a link- http://www.slotsofca...urers/cox.shtml. If you click on the RTR car and then you can scroll through more pics of the same car.

Yep, that's where I found it. I was surprised there was nothing at the LASCM either.
I have Ken Miles drivers just wanted to make sure the RTR did or not come with one. But thanks for the links
By the way, the link you sent in post 3 is the driver used in the Ferrari Dino and Gurney stocker, Jairus showed the correct one.
Side note those are the decals for the Mkll (blue stripes on a white body) Jairus did a beauty awhile back.
I wish Cox had put that into production.

Oh yes, now I see the differences in the figures. And you could always try to recreate one like Jairus did.

A lot of work, and Jairus did a real nice job. I did save some pics, just in case.
Here a link to the epic build.

He did do a great job. Body work is much easier than painting in my point of view. The way he so crisply painted that resin body is extraordinary.

"resin body" ???

The driver cames separatelly in a plastic bag with wrench and intructions.
I have a RTR Ford GT plastic bag with the wrench driver and intructions unfortunately no car and no box.

Now that make's sense to me. Thank you so much Miguel for the answer to this question.
Would you be willing to sell the plastic bag with the wrench driver and instructions?
Could you post a pic of these items?
P.M. me if we can trade?

"resin body" ???
You are right, Cox bodies would be injection molded not resin. I think that bodies like Tamiya are resin. Good catch.

No, Tamiya bodies are injection molded styrene, not resin.

Okay, thanks. Not a thing I know much about.
Either way Jairus did a great job.
