We will be starting to race this class here at Piranha Speedway every Wednesday night. Race time will be 7 PM.

Motor: USRA SPEC motor( PS4002USRAFK). This is the motor that will be used by the USRA for the Group F class at the Nationals here at Piranha Speedway. Although there is a seal on the motor, for local racing, you will be allowed to open the motor and rebuild it. No ball bearings in the motor allowed and you must use the same type of parts when you rebuild it.

Chassis: Any USRA approved chassis. Chassis that have not been approved by the USRA will be approved or disapproved on a case by case basis. No chassis modifications permitted except for removing the front pans. Ball bearings for the axle are allowed. Must conform to USRA general rules.

Body: Any wing car style body is permitted.

Tires: Any spec hub tire with a maximum retail price of $18. No waffled tires allowed.

Axle: No hollow or lightweight axles allowed.

The first race will be April 21

On April 14, we will have a test and tune day. Bring your Group F car and there will be no track charge that day

Thanks for the info , on the motor part it says use the same type of parts so does that mean we can use an aftermarket armature with the same specs or just the stock original arm from ProSlot

Tim

the only way this class was ever intended to be a 100 car was 8 yrs ago when it was started we all used Old parts to build the car

and fished for a fast 12$ tin can motor and you spent the 100 on finding a Motor that was fast enough to race

We had our first race on this past Wednesday and while we only had 6 guys show up, there were 3 new guys and me who were not quite ready. Plus i have had a couple of more guys show interest in the last couple of days.

We let the computer set the lanes and off we went. James Davis and Sam Rackham took turns leading until Sams motor slowed and James cruised to the win. Joe Seymour bought all the parts foe his ride when he got to the track at about 3. With Joe Gallagher's help he was able to get the car together and score a third place finish.
