The United States Retro Racers Association (USRRA) was formed to provide a racing platform for those racers who enjoy Retro style racing but want an alternative to sealed motor racing. 

 

The current rules are shown below:

 

IRRA general chassis specifications

IRRA/BRS approved bodies (.010" thick)

PS-4002FK motors and Scorpion arms & motors:

*stock arm may be epoxied, balanced, and commutator trued.

*stock can and magnets; no shimming, honing, ‘squashing,’ or ‘smashing’

*can bushing may be soldered

*can endbell retention tabs may be removed

*magnets may be glued

*endbell bushing may be glued and/or pinned

*may use PS-641 copper hardware

*spec 8t pinion

 

*MOTORS SUBJECT TO RANDOM POST INSPECTION

*April 3, 2021 -

*shop opens 8 AM

*CA tech opens 10 AM; closes 10:30

*F1 tech closes 1 hr after conclusion of CA

*all races at Marks Model World

*CA & F1; best six of eight races for Championship points
