Thanks to all! To Steve for sponsoring such a cool track and to Bob for his skill and craftsmanship in creating such a wide variety of tracks. This one is outstanding! Thanks also to the guys in the group for great racing. And last but most importantly to Sheila for sharing her living room space with Steve and tolerating us in her home and even making us lunch!

Steve, I'll be happy to help with the race report, I'm not sure there is a set format, what you have already done looks fine.
I just want to mention that Chris Kouba won a couple of races, you can fill in the stats but this is great as they are Chris' first two race wins while running with our group.

To top off an excellent day I got my copy of SARN #226 with Steve's photo on the cover and coverage of our last race at my new track in April. Thanks John!

Hi guys,

Yeah... I can only say WOW!!! Super cool track. BIG thanks Steve for getting it done in the house and hats off to Bob for a spectacular creation.

I keep having more fun than a reasonably mature person should admit to when I go racing. These guys are great fun to hang out with and everyone is pretty serious about having a good time. I've only been at this for a few months but they certainly make me feel like one of the gang.

I had a great time and as Dave mentioned, I actually won a race or two. For the Group 5 race, this was in no doubt due me running a borrowed car (Steve's?) which had seen some "development". For the Group C run though, I can proudly claim it as mine. I am a die hard Le Mans fan and spend the majority of my time getting them and my flock of GT40's to run right. I clearly have more success with my 962/956/XJR fleet than the 40's though.

Thanks again to Steve and Sheila for giving up a room in the house, getting the track built and having us all over. I already told Steve that I'll be inviting myself over as much as I can. And Bob, you did a WONDERFUL(!) job with the track. Someday I would like to be able to get one of these in my house.

I hope to be seeing you all on Weds night!

Hello everyone,

Dave is correct Chris did win (with style) a couple of very hard fought races.

One would never know that Chris has only been at this a short time. He is a very smooth and clean racer, I have no problems about going in turn 1 with him door to door!!

Sounds like a good idea. Bob's doing a lot to promote slot racing - building tracks as well as setting up tracks at various venues for more public exposure, and hopefully increasing interest in the hobby, all good stuff. :)

Bob has always done alot to promote slots, and is highly respected by all of us, for all he does to expose the fun and thrills of slot racing.

Another great thred Bob, Thanks for taking the time to share this build with us. One hell of a nice track !!!!
