Introducing a brand NEW thingie called the MYSTIC!

This is an almost complete car that clearly shows the vast potential of of Mystic body. This car was painted by Master Jairus Watson Studios.

Riding on a Dynamic Chassis with an inline French 36D. The final bit of preparation is the gears.

Very cool car, Maximo, I especially like the back end with the picture window. And yet another use for one of Martin's repro Renegade body mounts!

Niiiiiice!
Here in the UK club scene, there is a sneery dismissal of thingies.
Many even throw it around as an insult for cars not considered "accurately to scale" (like the NSR Mosler)

Quite why there isn't a celebration of this slot-specific subculture here, is a mystery to me.
Damn, these cars represent the wildest fantasies of model racers.
Who would not want a full-scale "Mystic" on their driveway?

Max, FYI  Up here in New England,  there's one of the oldest NASCAR modified race teams named the Mystic Missile. It's headquartered in Mystic, CT.

There hasn't been an exciting new Thingie body shell in sometime until now!

This one is quite rare and I have never seen a complete slot car of this Mystic ever before until now!

I hope the creatives juices are flowing in the heads of Thingie lovers over the possibilities...!
