I recently discovered Mr Steak on-line meat purveyor and was very impressed with the quality of their steaks. We recently celebrated our 46th anniversary of being married to the same spouse. We served up Mr. Steak prime New York stripsteaks grilled on my trusty Weber Genesis grill, they were delicious but the steakhouse char was just not there. I saw the dual burner infrared grill on sale at Cabela's and bought one for Fathers Day, I told my wife she bought it for me to keep things smoothly running.

 

My son put together the grill and was anxious to try it out as he had some brots he wanted to try, I suggested the Weber but he wanted to try the Mr Steak. This beast was meant to char steaks not grill brots and hot dogs and the exterior was well blackened while the inside was still cold, kind of like eating my mom's cooking.

 

Last night we grilled three Kansas City Strip Steaks by others, the grill did beautifully and the meat responded correctly to intense infrared heat. If any of you want to try Mr Steak stuff here is a link to try.

Guys, the Mr Steak grill has turned out to be a great steak char tool, the finish is every bit as good as you will find at an upper crust steak house. Their steaks are better than any from other on-line purveyors I've tried. 

 

Those of you that are carnivores look for some of these the next time I get an urge to send a treat. I goofed once and sent Kolach to a buddy that did not eat sweets, then steak gift cards to another that eats no meat.
