I think you may mean "La Bostella." If I'm correct, type it into Slotblog's search engine and click the green-colored button. Scroll down past the misc. advertisements and you may find some good info.

The La Bostella was a fantasy body made by Carrera, Germany, in the late '60s. Nowadays a couple of replicas are offered, which partly were made on original molds.

They are still available.

Great-looking cars on your JSR gallery.

What scale are they?

Appreciate the updated info. Any ideas on when first manufactured, 1968? And Carrera? Who is making reproduction chassis, bodies?

PdL, in a post said it is in his new book, but I cannot afford his new book (sadly), 1/24, sidewinder, powered by what?

Thanks again.

Martin, all cars are 1/24 scale.

Charles: these old chassis are to find in ebay, reproduction bodies are available here: http://www.solidchas...a-bostella.html

Thanks Jen.

This is great to see quality scale builds in 1/24 scale. Nice work.

Nice memories, I painted the two purple ones a long time ago.
