Another lite turnout for this month's D3 Hardbody races at Buena Park Raceway.
The GTP race saw a lot of very fast laps with Eddie Shorer winning, Phil Nyland second, and Jim Lane third.
The GTP "Racer Handicap" podium had Dave Decesare first, Eddie Shorer second, and Phil Nyland third. Congrats to Dave on his first D3 Hardbody podium win.
The Mixed race had a small field of five entries.
Hector "Gonzo" Gonzalez set an unofficial (less than a full field) total lap record for the Trans-Am class with 251 laps. Phil Nyland was second, and Keith Tanaka third.
The "Racer Handicap" podium had the same three racers in the same order.

The next D3 Hardbody races, Sunday August 29, 2021 (fifth Sunday). First race is for GTP, starts at noon SHARP, a quick lunch is next followed by the Mixed race.
For those interested, bring your home club 1/32 cars to BPR on the 29th to take some practice laps on the flat track. We are planning on having a race for these hardbody 1/32 cars on the fifth Sunday in October.
