Got an NOS Ram chassis in a mid-60's chassis lot I got for $12 with shipping and tax! Also got an NOS DC706 from a fellow blogger along with some other motors I needed. Really great stuff.

Decided to use Riggen rears with germans, Russkit slant guide and the Dubro Cheetah body I had.

The chassis for being NOS was quite bad. Nearly all of the joints (except one) were either broken or soldered "cold". Repaired the entire chassis and put a bend in the main rails to lower the chassis. Set wheelbase and drop-arm length and got it all together. I left motor completely stock and just oiled it up. Ended up looking really good and used no decals cause it already looked so good. Added some lead to drop arm as it was really light. Runs smooth.

Good looking car! The body is by Dubro. It might be marked on the silver undercoat.
