Just did a build on this '70 Opel. I made my own front section from 2 mm brass rails are 1/16" TIG wire. Rear bracket is locally made.
Gonna try a Pro Slot 'Crazy Horse' in it. Total weight is around 160 grams.

hmm, do you have races for no bar cars... would be interesting as it would add a element of driving skill, or maybe more complicated controllers...
Cry like a baby, drive like a girl, walk like a man.
Give me enough rope and I'll build a fast car... or hang myself?

No-bar hardbodies are pretty popular around here. Largest group at our drag meets.

Duane I'm hoping for low 1.0s high .9s crazy horse is a little hotter than a s16d arm with better mags.
If you go on Facebook Wes & Bens drag group Mike Swiss who owns Chicagoland raceway has a few cars running high to mid .8s using his cr motors.
I believe the mid America phoneix is not bad too.

The throw away motors are also fast the the mid America phoneix is possible what they are running they are capable of running in the mid .8s along with Chicagoland cr stage motors asI said I know Mike Swiss from Chicagoland raceway has run mid .8s with one of his stage 5 motors in a slip joint with a C4 Vette body.
