Any help in identifying the manufacturer of this slot car body would be appreciated.

I always wanted to make a Mario Andretti Brawner-Hawk Indy slot car.  I could never find a body of this car in 1/24th scale until a few years ago, when I found this one on eBay. It is an old butyrate body.  I finally got around to restoring the body and completing a slot car out of it.

There was some discussion previously on slotblog regarding who made a Brawner-Hawk slot car body in 1/24th scale.  Some thought Lancer made one, but no picture of one was posted.  Booth made a Lexan body similar to this car.  I know the Brawner-Hawk design is based on a Brabham-Ford Indy.  Doing a quick search, I could not find any information on a manufacturer of a Brawner-Hawk or Brabham-Ford Indy slot car body in 1/24th scale outside of the slotblog discussion.  A quick check of Independent Scratchbuilder yielded no matches.

When restoring this body, there were lots of cracks to glue back together.  The tip of the nose air intake section of the body is from a donor body from my slot car junkyard.  The donor nose section was grafted on.  The intake, exhaust, and oil cooler details were added to the body.  The Champion two rail chassis was modified to fit the Brawner-Hawk.  Wheels are modified Cox threaded wheels with Riggen knockoffs added.  Paul's tires are on the rear.  I just painted the driver last night.  It is a Russkit driver head on a Lancer interior.  A 16D motor was assembled with a mild rewound armature.  Time to give the car a run.

I took one of my resin Lotus 38's and added body putty and a lot of sanding to make a BH a few years ago. the initial body is in these pix.

I later found this car on the left on Ebay.   It was painted orange.  I believe it to be a Lancer body.   I repainted it on the outside and added new decals.  A true scale BH was made by Lance Sellers Indy Cars.   That was quite a few years ago and the kits are not available now.  If he ever makes a new mold, he will send me a new body to use for a pattern to make a slot body.  Lance also had correct decals made for this car.

more pix of these projects. The hard body was built for our open wheel hard body class.   I also used one of those castings to make a Coyote Ford.

I found these in my closet.   I think the Lola is correctly labeled, it looks like your body.  , The other body I am not sure of.  They are both Lancer bodies,

Thanks Matt for looking into this.  You do amazing work on the bodies.  You got me digging into some Lancer bodies I have in boxes and I found this Lancer body list.

The 218 body shows our Lancer bodies as a Brabham Ford.
