The second race of the ORS-KOR 2021-22 season is just a week away at Tom Thumb Hobbies in Columbus, Ohio. Saturday October 16th, 2021 to be exact. The doors will open at 8:00am and tech will begin at 10:00am.
This week we have spot checked the braid and replaced or fixed what needed. The track has been cleaned and Saturday Oct. 9 it will be ready for practice.
While we were doing our track maintenance it felt like it had been forever since the last time. And, I guess, it sort of has been. Wow did we miss the racing and all of our great racers who have attended in the past. The first race at MMW was lightly attended so I don’t know what to expect entry wise. Hopefully most of you will be able to come but no matter what…..WE ARE BACK !!
This has been a very strange couple of years for all of us. And we are not quite through it yet. Cindy is feeling better but I’m not sure she is up to a complete race day yet. I know for a fact she is missing all of you and can’t wait to BE back.
To protect you as well as us, and considering they are mandated by our city government, masks are MANDATORY. And that means properly worn masks. NO CHIN STRAPS. As much as we will miss you, if that is a problem for you then please stay home. The mask mandate wont last forever so we will be able to see you, mask free, in the future.
We will be open 10:00am to 8:00pm on Friday. Track pass is $10.00.
See you then………
