Does anyone know the manufacturer of this motor. Tag just has "12" on it.

It's most likely a Koford.

I'm pretty that's a Koford drag motor.

Is there engraving on any of the 3 stacks?

Endbell looks like the Koford color.  Drag motor.

As a mater of fact, once I checked with a magnifier it does say Koford. Thanks Mike. So its a drag motor then?

Yes, a lot of steel in the can design, for more torque.

It would run on a road course, but would be a bit on the heavy side, and would need to be geared appropriately.
