I just saw a post regarding the passing of our friend Bob Suzuki in August. This is the first I heard of the death of this multi-talented kind soul.

Thanks for letting us know, Dennis.
Bob was a very early member here at Slotblog, having joined in February 2006.

Oh, no. I hadn't seen or heard from him for a while. He was a great guy and good soul.

Bob was a nice person. In addition to being quite a good chassis builder, mostly 1/32, Bob was a very good artist and a collector of art and articles with a nautical theme. Born in the Seattle area, he also played guitar.
I tried to contact him about a year ago, but was unsuccessful at that time. He will be missed.
I intend to live forever! So far, so good.

I've had no luck in locating an obituary for Bob.

Bob's talents were great. His works live on. He was the Iso-fulcrum king of brass chassis scratchbuilding.

Rest in Peace, Bob.
I am not a doctor, but I played one as a child with the girl next door.

I was just going through old T-shirts and saw his drawing and thought I will have to call him...
Rest in peace, Sir!

Thanks, Jo. You beat me to it, as I had planned to bring that Facebook post over here, too.

You are welcome, Greg. I only knew Bob for a short time when he was in Toronto, but I will never forget him.
