The USRRA organization had their third race of the season on Nov 6, 2021, at Mark's Model World in Canton, OH. We had a good turnout of 15 racers in Can-Am and 14 in F1. We run by IRRA chassis rules and unsealed Pro-Slot FK motors including Scorpion motors. We run Can-Am first then have an one hour break, then we run F1. Here below please find a write-up of the race results.

 

Can-Am Field:

 

 

Can-Am Qualifying: Jason Dennis lead the way in qualifying with the only sub-4 second qualifying time at 3.998 sec.

Can-Am Race: The Can-Am race was a very close dual between Greg Fox and Jason Dennis. These guys always bring their A game. When the last heat was finished, Greg Fox was ahead by just 1/2 lap. Both racers lead at different times during the race. Doc Dougherty was third. In the B-main, Ralph Middaugh lead the way, followed by Dennis Clark and Dave Doerschuk.

USRRA Race #3 F1 Results: In the F1 race, Jason turned the tables on Greg by winning by 5 laps. In fact, Jason went farther in the F1 race than he did in the Can-Am race! Al Rutti had a great F1 race to finish 3rd. He was an happy camper. In the B-main, Marc Picione lead the way to the checker over Bill Fulmer and Dave Doerschuk.
