Someone really loved this car and detailed it out way back when. I like the "average guys" cars that cost little and could be nicely "done up".

As a youngster, I really did not have much time (actually none) for the Strombecker cars, as there were certainly much better performing cars to run, especially on the commercial tracks, where I mainly played/raced.
Years later, I still do not really care for their chassis'/running gear, but, I have come to appreciate the quality of some of their bodies, and their Cheetah is one that can be made into a very decent looking car. With a scratchbuilt chassis, they run around the club sized wood tracks (where I now spend most of my time) very nicely.
These were done several years ago.

it is amazing what can be done with a small amount of effort if you have a good base to start with.
