The AWRA was founded in 2017 with the goal of establishing a standard set of nationwide rules for Womp racing. In the five years that the AWRA has been in operation, we have seen dramatic growth in the popularity of Womp racing. We like to think that the AWRA has contributed to that growth.

For the growth to continue, we feel that the majority of raceways in the US must run the same rules. At present, the only published set of national Womp rules are the AWRA rules. With that in mind, we are offering a no-cost program to all raceways.

This program is called the AWRA Charter Raceway program. Here is how it works:

1. The raceway owner contacts the AWRA and requests Charter Raceway status.

2. The raceway agrees to run all of its Womp races under AWRA rules.

3. The raceway gives advance notice of races or series to the AWRA and sends race results to the AWRA.

In exchange, the AWRA will do the following:

1. The AWRA will publicize races beforehand and share those posts online.

2. The AWRA will make flyers where necessary for weekly or other events.

3. The AWRA will recognize the raceway's winners and add those racers to the AWRA winner's circle lists on the AWRA Facebook page and the AWRA website.

4. The Charter Raceways will have priority for any merchandise (stickers, etc.) that the AWRA may give away.

So, that's the program. If you would like to be a part of it, feel free to call Steve Adkins at (839) 356-0078.
