Replacing braid on track

If there was another way to do it, Steve Ogilvie would of most likely figured it out.
He built tracks for a living.
The only time I think about track building is when I'm planning to make one of mine, or am making it.
The rest of the time I'm thinking about girls.

While replacing braid on my hillclimb I found that a paint can opener fit the gain perfectly. I found a couple with a perfect width that did not have sharp edges. Combined with a heat gun and a little lacquer thinner (not at the same time), the process of removing leftover glue was painless and did not harm the gain/braid bed surface. 95% of the braid and glue comes right up with a heat gun.
Modified flux brush to chase all the rubbish out of the slot while being sucked up by a shop vac.
