I am sure it is possible. Send Jim a email and ask about it. Or he may chime in as he is on here from time to time..

Looked at a picture of the DD201, and the heat sink is probably in the way for the normal location of the Pot for traction control. The pot could be mounted on some kind of extender board or somewhere else but I would think the wiring would work very much like other controllers.

This model has more real estate on the board to accommodate an additional knob.

I can add a traction rheostat to the original smaller circuit board but it will face the opposite direction.

Traction Control upgrade completed!!!
Thanks Jim Difalco!
I think you sent the new smaller foot print rheostat that did fit from the correct side of the board so all knobs are on the same side.
The only thing was the supplied knob will barely hit the heat sink so i could not use the knob.
So I looked thru my radio junk pile and found a knob that works ok.
Tested the functions of the DD 201 and everything is working as it should.
Thanks again Jim for your assistance and the speedy shipment of the parts needed to do the upgrade.
Heading to Atlanta Slot Car Raceway on 12/18/21 to try it out.

Went to the track and tested, HUGE difference in driving the car.
Tested Retro stock car, can-am, coupe and F1 on the 165' hill climb at Atlanta.
All of the cars were easier to drive fast.
I found myself cranking the traction control up to about 50% or so and the sensitivity control up to about 75%
It took a little practice to get use to driving this way but the cars will haul @ss thru the doughnut!
