Not to be cranky but for me there has not been a good looking all out race car for many years.
Great cars, super fast, sure, but great looking not so much.

Eddie, what should a race car look like in order for you to say it's a good looking race car? One not computer designed?

looks like a lemans car to me, with a lousy front splitter.

I think most here will agree with you. I personally like the old stuff and the new high tech cars.

I think that is their Le Mans car.
I don't get that splitter either. Maybe ground effects?

If it's any consolation, one of Jim Glickenhaus earlier race cars, the SCG003, was even uglier. Not to be cranky but for me there has not been a good looking all out race car for many years.
Great cars, super fast, sure, but great looking not so much.

Found on Bring a Trailer auction site. This car is street driven.
Just shows the diversity in the car hobby. Which is what makes it so fun. Not everyone thinks a Hemi 'Cuda is the ultimate street car.
And yes, splitters usually are still wind tunnel tested. Just look at the ones on the present day F-1 cars.
