The 2022 Womp Nats races will be held on Saturday, April 2, with optional qualifying to be held on Friday, April 1. Throughout the week of Monday, March 28-Saturday, April 2. there will be non-championship races and other attractions.
Monday and Tuesday are planned to be open practice days.
A seniors (age 50+) Legends race on the flat track and Grand Prix on the Hillclimb will be held on Wednesday.
Thursday will be open practice.
Two special charity races will be on tap for Friday. The Victory Junction 500 is a free race for Victory Junction kids and their families. The kids will race identically prepared stock cars on the oval. Following the Victory Junction 500 will be Rally Beetle IROC race. The IROC race is open to all racers. The racers will use identically-prepared cars and hand-out controllers. The entry fees for this race will be donated to Victory Junction Camp. Following the race, there will be an online raffle for the cars and controllers, proceeds to Victory Junction Camp. Optional qualifying and tech for Saturday's races will be held on Friday.
Also planned for the week is a product display open to all manufacturers. Table space will be very affordable, but space is limited.
Saturday will be tech and racing. There will be limited practice time. The race schedule is as followed, order TBA.
1. Stock Car on the oval
2. Dirt Late Model on the oval
3. Grand Prix on the flat track
4. Legends on the Hillclimb
5. Sportsman on the Hillclimb

All of the Nats championship races will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022. That means that you can race in every race that counts toward the championship by attending on one day. During the week, there will be "for fun" races. These races will be for seniors only, Victory Junction kids only, an IROC charity race, and a Grand Prix Hillclimb race.. (The Nats Grand Prix race will be run on the flat track on Saturday.)

Project X Racing announces today their intent to donate $1,000.00 to Victory Junction in the name of the winner of the Victory Junction 500.
Project X racing encourages other companies to support the 2022 AWRA National Championship with their donations of product or money.

Ten lucky winners will win a race ready WOMP Rally Beetle and controller set. Tickets are $1 and all proceeds go to Victory Junction Camp.
The cars and controllers were donated by Caveman Bodeez, Professor Motor, R P Performance and Kelly Racing Products. They have been used in two races, the Victory Junction 500 and the IROC Rally Beetle race.
You don't have to be present to win. You may pick up your prizes at The Race Center in Monroe Crossing Mall in Monroe, North Carolina, or your prizes can be shipped to you at your expense.
Each car and controller set is worth approximately $200.00.
