I me be wrong... it is a 1/32 but... about the motor:

It is a Tamiya 1/32 nice chassis and motor. Rare I think.

I know there is another simpler two-part chassis for the 16D motor, but this one originally has this motor which is different... what motor is it?

Doesn't the adjustable frame look very nice?

Very nice.
I guess that is a re-realese at the beginning of the millennium.

Body is a 2000 year replica by Tamiya. Chassis and motor '60-70 years...

Hi,

Here's my original Tamiya Lotus 30; it's been restored! It does use a regular FT16 motor with the blind rear bearing and endbell drive. Some of the Japanese models included brackets for both style motors, CD and EBD, and even 16D or 36D, but not sure if Tamiya did this on their 1/32 models - your's does look like it has a special bracket for a can drive motor.

Not really sure what motor that is in your Lotus. Kind of looks like one of the Riko models from Japan, sold by Riko in the UK.

Ah, maybe... I'm only familiar with the open-frame KTM motors, both inline and laminated pole.
