A set of 21 different sized jig wheels?

I can safely say no one markets anything like that, or close to that.

Thanks for that ..I just hate that the jig wheels or blocks don't have more increments .790 then the next is .765 how about all the sizes in-between tires don't wear out that fast

I guess I'll have to cut up some feeler gauge pieces and place them under the blocks

Precision will make you whatever you want. What is offered is typically what is standard with rule sets.  Are you planning to build chassis with .005 increments or rejig as needed?

If you already have jig wheels. use some bits of tape stuck to them to arrive at your .005" increments.

Marlon, the idea with jig wheels is to get the axle height in the ballpark, then fine-tune with tire OD using a grinder.

I do like Matt's info of having PSC custom make specific sizes  :good:

If you've never done it before, and assuming you have adjustable/undersize bushings, or oversize hole pillow blocks, it's still a 3 hand, 2 soldering iron, operation.

I use 3m painters tape to adjust my jig wheels. In some cases up to 5 layers.

I’ve never measured 3m painters tape that has any variation in thickness.

Blue painters tape, as noted, has been my solution. I stick it to the bottom of my PCH jig "wheels". Works great and provides all the flexibility you seek.

I'm not familiar with changing axle height to compensate for tire wear. I've always just bought new tires.

Generally the rules specify a MINIMUM tire diameter allowed so resetting worn out tires that are already under the minimum in order to gain chassis clearance won't be legal anyway unless you are beginning with way over size tires to begin with...

These are for flexi cars you can run any size you like as long as it passes tech ! So you start out at .790 and as they wear you retrue your tires set your ride height and your good to go. .820,-812 for retro

To keep changing the axle height & doing it right isn't a lot of fun. It gets tiring real quick. It's easier to set your axle height once & start with tires a little bigger than what would provide the minimum chassis clearance. Run them, then do your .005" cuts to true them up as needed..

You don't have to do that ever time you race just as tires wear out but the blocks that are available would t let you do that .but I found someone that's building me some blocks that will with .005 adjustments from .790 - .720 nice
