A set of 21 different sized jig wheels?Hello - just wondering is there any company that makes a complete set of jig wheels . .820 - .720 Id really like to find some with .005 increments
I can safely say no one markets anything like that, or close to that.

Precision will make you whatever you want. What is offered is typically what is standard with rule sets. Are you planning to build chassis with .005 increments or rejig as needed?

If you already have jig wheels. use some bits of tape stuck to them to arrive at your .005" increments.

Marlon, the idea with jig wheels is to get the axle height in the ballpark, then fine-tune with tire OD using a grinder.
I do like Matt's info of having PSC custom make specific sizes

Yes rejig as tires wear out
If you've never done it before, and assuming you have adjustable/undersize bushings, or oversize hole pillow blocks, it's still a 3 hand, 2 soldering iron, operation.

I’ve never measured 3m painters tape that has any variation in thickness.

It works for shimming armature slugs too.

I'm not familiar with changing axle height to compensate for tire wear. I've always just bought new tires.

Generally the rules specify a MINIMUM tire diameter allowed so resetting worn out tires that are already under the minimum in order to gain chassis clearance won't be legal anyway unless you are beginning with way over size tires to begin with...

To keep changing the axle height & doing it right isn't a lot of fun. It gets tiring real quick. It's easier to set your axle height once & start with tires a little bigger than what would provide the minimum chassis clearance. Run them, then do your .005" cuts to true them up as needed..

Have you ever moved installed bushings?
