Praise for the Chicagoland CR-102 Retro motor

I am VERY pleased with the new motor from Chicagoland.
I have been racing slot cars for 17 years now.
I am not a consistent racer (I don't race all the time, just when I can). A consistent and lasting motor program can be an issue for me. Especially with inconsistent motors.
At a very recent retro race, I literally installed Mike Swiss new motor, put 15 laps in it, and nearly qualified in the A Main. I am a good driver, not great. I have good equipment. The motor thing has always been a small issue for me. This motor is strong, consistent, fast, and fun to drive. I am very happy about this motor.
If you have been thinking about trying retro racing but the motor thing has bothered you-now is the time to try it. Nice motor Mike Swiss!

So far, so good, on the motors, and all I can do is stay on my vendor, to keep providing a good product for me to sell.
I always check out the Tuesday night weekly Retro races from Port Jeff.
Nice to see a tight 3.82-3.86 spread, as the best lap times for the A Main guys, and on 3 separate lanes.
And a solid 3.96-4.06 spread for the B Main guys, including Slotblog regular, Bill B., flirting with a 3.9.

Now if someone could gift him a Dymo label maker for his header cards, it will be the total package.....literally, lol.

Why would I waste my time and money putting labels on the cards?

To have a modern presence with description and possibly a bar code. Motors are not as big of an issue as other products. Make it easier on your stocking raceways. Silly I know.

I think its great that you can potentially just bolt it in and go racing!!
It will make a difference for me racing.
