Note:  The only change to the document, from Rev-3, is The Raceway.biz October race date has been changed from Sunday the 9th to Sunday the 2nd and participating raceway owner Mike Rapp replaced with Joe Milstead --

FSCS 2022 Rules and Schedule _ Rev-1 changes

Some changes to the chassis list were overlooked.

 

Three Mossetti chassis were left off of the approved chassis list.  They are Defender II, Striker II and Avenger Air.

 

Note:  There are no changes regarding any approved JK chassis but the part numbers have changed.  The new part numbers are now included in the chassis list.

The section of the rules regarding points and dropped races was overlooked.  Here is the update:  

 

In the 2022 racing season, there will be at least six race days and possibly seven or eight.  Main Street Raceway might not host races on their scheduled dates in May and/or October.  Whether or not they do will depend on participation of their local racers in the three preceding FSCS races.

 

The points for each car class will be tallied at the end of the season and, if there have been six or seven races, one race will be dropped (the lowest race result) from each racer's total points.

 

If there have been eight races, two races will be dropped.  An exception to two drops is; if a racer skips running a class both times during the season at any one raceway, that racer will have a third race dropped from his/her total points.  The purpose of the third drop is to help ensure that contenders for top spots in a car class championship will have raced at least one race for that class, at all four raceways.

Ed, Marcus and Mike (the BoD) have made changes to the FSCS 2022 race event schedule.  There will be a total of nine events with two drops.

 

The 2022 revised schedule is:

Sun. April 10 - FER

Sat. May 14 - P1R

Sun. June 12 - RWB

Sun. July 10 - FER

Sun. Aug. 14 - P1R

P1R = P-1 Slot Car Raceway, Winter Garden

RWB = The Raceway.biz, Melbourne

FER = Fast Eddie's Slot Cars & Raceway, Pinellas Park

The P-1 August race date has been changed from Sun the 14th to Sat the 13th.

Sorry for the late change, but the new owners, Joe and Brittni Milstead, of TheRaceway.biz (Melbourne) were not aware of the Sunday October 9th scheduled FSCS race day.

 

Joe has a conflicting event and other October weekends have various slot car events being held, so the FSCS October race day will be Sunday October 2nd.
