What are these? No, not the cod filets. The little .020" thick, nickel brass items in the zip loc bag. What is the purpose of them? No prizes. A possible future semi-sincere pat on the back, if you guess the technical term that I conjured up.

Yes, slot car related.

Not a brace.

Slightly above average cole slaw.

If they were steel, I'd say they were a guide tongue brace.

However, in brass? Front axle upright? Guide Tongue?

Enquiring minds want to know. Keep the cod. I'll take the biscuit.

Here is my Facebook blurb on the item, with stock #,  price, and availability.

New CR136 offset reducer/"Marshal Buddy".

Use one or more, soldered on the bottom of your guide tongue, to reduce the offset on your chassis when running on tracks with a deep recess, or with cars, where rules require a tall front clearance.

Prevents over-rotation in guides like the newest Red Fox, which is only available in a "cutdown" version. Can also be added to the bottom of guide tongues with no, or poorly designed guide stops, in situations where you would normally use at least .020" in guide washers.

Check with your Flexi or FCR tech director, to determine if this is a legal add-on.

CNC milled from .020" thick nickel brass.

Available at Eagle and ERI distributors next week.

$12.00 for a ziploc bag of 4 pcs.($3 each)

Typical short discount as other premium CR CNC milled parts.
