Hi Tom,
I really appreciate the detail of your chassis.
If I may ask you please, how long did it take for you to fabricate the chassis?
I'm also not familiar with dragster chassis design and would like to inquire as to the purpose of the left side rod that extends from body to the front axle?
Quite unique in appearance and I really like the overall design.
Thank you Tom.

Not sure exactly maybe close to 10 hours in total.
I have run it with the ft 16 it is not very fast but it is really smooth.
Thanks, Bob, that is exactly what that bar is... the steering rod.

Not sure Ernie I have a Shinoda Detroit Slider on the go but I'm waiting for a friend to paint the body.
Also got a resin 41 Willys body I might put a padlock under.

I believe the Mooneyes dragster has a Dragmaster chassis. It was a popular front motor drag chassis in the 60s.

Tom, that is sweet. Your builds always seem to capture the correct period look.
You don't often see those wider "Unique's". Nice
Only thing you are missing on this one is some actual eyes LOL.
Did you have to use special flux to solder the stainless?

Glad you decided to use aluminum for the body. Just like the real cars.
