Hi,

Bought new stock tires for all my cars a year ago. They are all loose and falling off now.

Could you all please tell me who I should buy tires from in order to get good tires that won't get loose after so little time?

Thanks.

no matter what tires you get they will eventually fall off the stock rims, bc the tires will stretch.

you can try double flange rims, but that means you have to replace the rims, and get a tire puller and tire press to do it properly.

this place, they sell double flange rims:

Thanks.  I'll check with Viper.        Can't go to the expense of the double fanged rims, puller , etc.

Seeing ads for  stock t-jet gel claws. I've run them on my 1/24 vintage stuff.  Any good for t-jet and for not falling off?

gel claws might have too much traction.  sometimes i've had to glue my stock t-jet tires to the rims.

Urethane tires may work for you.
They can be glued to rims with clear nail polish

If they don't kill the tires, those should certainly hold them on. ;)

We use tires from Ratherboring on eBay and have good luck with them racing stock T-Jets on two-lane Aurora lock and joiner track layouts, with Hills!

Thanks all for input. Another tire question please: I have a 1387 thunderbike. Early American version with shinny tire up front. I need tires front and rear. The original parts list says:

" slick tire; front"-part 8371; and "narrow tires, rear"- part 8732. Does anyone know who might have these?

I have really good luck with super tires for stock size tjet tires. I use the .378 size. They will come off now and then though. Its just the nature of the beast.
