Kelly Products have kicked in some pretty substantial sponsorship for this year's Checkpoint Cup and the race is now called the Kelly/Checkpoint Cup. Lots of race prizes, money for plaques, and race bucks for many of the finishers! Thanks, Terry Kelly!

    

In the Flat track races today, Duran Trujillo ran to a close victory over Chance Overholt in Retro Coupe with Dale Yamashita third and Bryan Warmack fourth. Dominic Luongo TQ.     

 

In F1, TQ Dale Yamashita took the win with a close battle over Bryan Warmack with Herman James third and Chance Overholt fourth.

Attaboys for Duran and Dale.  Nice run--congrats to Dom for TQ and Bryan for podium finish!  Wish I could be there---love to have pics of the podium chassis!

   Last night in Retro Pro, the results were Joe Chevy 1st, Jerry Johnson 2nd and Alex Freund 3rd.

    

    In Can Am today, a barnburner that had both Duran Trujillo and Sam Rackham run down leader Jeremy Marquette in the final heat!  Duran 1st, Sam 2nd, Jeremy 3rd with TQ Garrett Sisk 4th.

 

   F1 up tomorrow........

     In the final event of this years Kelly/Checkpoint Cup, F1 on the King track, Duran Trujillo came from the B Main to claim the victory with Dale Yamashita 2nd, Garrett Sisk 3rd and TQ Dominic Luongo 4th.
