Hi John, so glad to see you branching out into 1/24 scale, which is my passion.  Will look forward to your builds.

Will there be any issues running 1/24 cars on your track?

Hi Martin, thanks so much for your post!

Our track is Carrera and will certainly have enough room for 1/24 scale cars, hmm, sounds like a good topic for a future episode!

I'd love to see some of your 1/24 builds!

Thanks again,

:)

John

I have many cars John, very hard for me to pick some to show. I mainly hang out in the 1/24 vintage corner.

The closest I ever got to 1/32 scale was my Mini Sprint (which I built in 1968) it was raced and tuned for American commercial tracks in the stock car (saloon) class.

I was able to race it at a 1/32 club track also as it was pretty close to the same same size as they were running.

I do remember when I hit the throttle it sucked the power from the other cars. Other drivers were not happy about that.

Lots of weight and lots of power.

I think you will enjoy the larger size as you can add more detail, especially when it comes time for the drivers and interior.

I enjoy painting these.

Neat projects John! You build 1/24 scale cars just like you build 1/32 scale cars, only a bit bigger, :laugh2:  1/24 also provides more room to try other things too, if you decide. Have fun building.  :D
