A bunch of rednecks is sitting around a BBQ having a few beers. 

A dog in the middle of the group is busy licking its balls. 

One of the men reflects wistfully:

"Jeez, I wish I could do that!"

The dog's owner hesitates for a moment and says: 

"Well, go ahead, help yourself ... but you better give it a pat first".

I still laugh at the scene from one of the Pink Panther movies, where Cleauseau is standing at a check-in counter at a hotel. There is a dog sitting in front of the counter. Cleauseau asks the clerk "Doe's your dog bite?" The clerk answers "No". The dog then bites the inspector. He states, "I thought you said your dog doesn't bite!" The clerk answers, "That is not my dog."

Well at our age licking one's own balls would not be the challenge it once was.

That reminds me of a favourite line from one of the Carry On movies. A fellow strikes up a conversation with a young lass leading a bull along a country lane. When he asks her where she's taking the bull, she replies that she's taking him over to the next pasture to mate with their cow. The fellow says "But can't your father handle the job?"

 

"Oh no!" she replies. It has to be the bull."
