]Who would have thought that a $13.28 (New Zealand dollars) motor would be so fast and give me so much enjoyment.
This morning, I ran my Flashhobby Arthur A1204 brushless motor in my open Horky 1/24 chassis for the first time.
The ESC is a Talon 25.
I had geared my little beast at 13:37 to run on our 152 foot, Janis Nabokins built, flat road course track.
The first few laps were run using a Parma Caddy HD GTP body, but due to the lag and delay in accelerator response, I switched to a wing car body.
What a beautiful car to drive. For whatever reason, the car responded better once I had applied some choke to it.
I only completed a few laps. Now I need to experiment with different gear ratios and maybe a different motor or two.
The future is here
