Went to the Womp race at what I guess is my local track but the race went in a different direction.

We don't normally use lane cards, racers are just expected to put their cars on where they came off. In at least one case I found two cars next to me that had not been there when I stopped.

More frustrating was the glueboard brigade gluing tires and rolling out the track and then doing it again before finally doing it again. If this is legal, I have no problem but I didn't see either of these things at the Hobby Max race I ran about a year ago.

The owner did a good job encouraging people to come and run. He also runs a weekly Womp program and tries to stock well. I think most racers went home happy and except for getting rained on putting my slot stuff in my car, having a flat tire on the way home, and problems from eating at a Subway just before closing so did I.

Be clear what the rules are, then enforce them, preferably without being a jerk.

Sounds like a friendly sit-down with the track owner is in order.....

Glue boards are for drag racing, not spray-glue scale racing.

Use Fish instead of foam tires - ProTrack Daytona "N" code tires only.
