maybe I've got things backwards, but isn't this a bit much for a broken frame that should be selling for $25 tops IF it was complete and in good shape, which this is neither, when I see old worn out tires with white flakes on the hubs and boxes of broken junk chassis parts listed as if they're prime vintage slot car parts it makes me laugh, does anybody buy this junk?

Paul. this chassis has been on eBay for months. The selling price varies up & down. As Ralph posted above, it's been as high as $99. If the owner expects to sell it, he should find another pan & assemble the chassis together. As it sits, it's just junk parts, worth maybe $5. It don't sell for a reason.  :laugh2:  :laugh2:

I was thinking $5 tops, but even if he put it back together, it's still a beater, they made about a zillion of these things, I have 4 of them, and all mine are in a lot better condition then that one could ever be, ant they're still not worth more then $25 or $30

The owner of that one is going to own it a lot longer. Whoever he is, this guy is a volume seller on eBay with over 1,000 items listed currently. Not a slot car guy, who knows something about what he's selling.

This chassis to me is not worth $25, but worth $ 10  It needs a lot of work and have to make new pan assembly. It makes a good project car.

Unbelievably it says it sold for just under $23 and $9 shipping, I guess there's a sucker born every minute.

I didn't buy it and so I have no dog in the fight. but why is the buyer a sucker? it apparently was what he wanted.

why is it necessary to degrade him?
