Events for April 12, 2014

As you may know Pacific Slot Car Raceways won the bid to host the 2014 USRA National Championships at our raceway in Edgewood, Washington.
 
The dates for the 2014 Division II USRA National Championships are April 8-12, 2014. A full detailed schedule will be produced. The Raceway which is normally closed the prior Sunday and Monday will be open for those wanting to test and tune prior to the race. We are getting these dates out so travelers can begin to make their plans.

$25 entry fee includes: open practice, coffee, donuts, water, pop, lunch, and lane stickers.

Raceway opens at 7:30 AM.
8 AM to 10 AM - track power on for open practice.
Tech open from 10 to 10:30 AM.
Qualifying begins 10:30 AM.
 
Qualifying for seedings will be 2 minute each and determine starting lane choice for semis and consis according to qualifying order.

Cars will be impounded at all times after tech and released just prior to the start of each race.

Motors: Falcon 7, Evil 9, The Demon only. No modifications except notch in can for axle clearance. Any motor suspected of tampering is subject to impound, disqualification, tear down at the discretion of the race director.
Chassis: Any EDM or Laser-cut steel, wire, brass or combo. No aluminum.
Body: Any wing car. USRA dimensions.
Tires: Any .750" min. diameter.
Weight: No restrictions.
Gears, axles, and bearings: Any ratio or pitch. Min. 3/32" solid axle. Ball or roller axle bearings are allowed

Semis and consis will be 2 min on 2 min off all eight lanes. Main will be 3 min on 3 mins off.

Lane change markers will be mandatory, violation will be five-lap penalty.
The 155 ft Grandstand style track is silky smooth and flawless, in like-new condition. 
Track prepped with spray glue.
 No additional glue on track or tires.

Track opens at 9:45 AM. One-hour practice for all other classes, then wing cars have separate 30 min practice. Wing car racing starts at 11:30 AM.
