I've had this 1958 Scarab for a few years now and it took me a while to find the decals that I ended up finding in Patto`s Place.

 

This is my first car with Pattos Decals.

 

I chose for this car a Cox chassis with TX50 motor, cox driver,tires and rear wheels from Auto Hobbies, Monogram front tires and wheels, the inserts are from the Revell Lang Cooper and for atach the chassis to the body two wood blocks

 

The car was  painted outside.

 

I took some pictures for see the evolution of the project and i`ll take more next week with the finished car.

The cockpit is in card with fiberglass embedded in epoxy.

Paint outside with Tamiya paints.

I confess that putting on this decal was intimidating because of its fragility.
Patto is careful to put more than one on the sheet.

 

I chose to place the decals on one side only so that they are firm.

During this week I will put on the opposite side.

And now the body and chassis assembled.

 

Next week it will be finished.
