I think the giveaway on these cars is the motor. Eddie's car with the G15 motor is definitely a Mura C-can. I can't tell if the photos at the start of the thread are for sure a Mura C-can 12, but it does look that way (short stack arm). I think that makes these later cars after REH bought the Riggen brand, or the motors have been replaced.

Bill, yes, you are correct, those are Mura C-cans. The can endplates are not centered, they're offset. They are centered on Mura 16D cans. The motor in the green & silver Nissan is installed upside down.

Actually, I do know that Dave, but it wasn't my first reaction... had to think for a second to get the reference!

I'm probably typical age where interest shifted from trains to cars - born in 1952.

I'm not sure where in history, but the Dynamic chassis was absolutely marketed as a Riggen at some point.

Those chassis are still available on eBay from Slot Car Central. I know for a fact that he got them from REH.

Nswanburg, I have only one with the bracket that came from Buzzies via nick65. I aquired 3 new ones from REH via Bob @ slot car central that have suttle differences. Bill, the ones that you are referring to are 1/32.
Almost seems like it's time for a Dynamic brass car thread?
