Rzollin, Proslot had Goldust motor brushes,
Damn, I'm getting old and forgetful. Not only did we sell a BUNCH of those at SCR&H .... I used them myself for a LONG time.
Thanks for catching my gaff.

another day or so and the contest will be over. Plum crazy and purple haze are in the lead. Not sure about any of the gold names.

Well .... after a little thought (very little) and a little Google searching for inspiration .... it turns out the answer for the Gold handle is in the address line of Jim's signature. As in Loquat Lane.
It turns out that Loquat fruit is known as "The Golden Fruit" because of its yellow or orange color, is oval or round shaped with a smooth or downy skin.
So perhaps the Golden Handle could simply called Loquat or Loquat Gold.

I think we should be naming the clear handles too. Another name for gold: Sunshine.
I intend to live forever! So far, so good.

Unfortunately I have to explain to most people what a Loquat is as it is not that well known so I am not sure people will make that connection.
Even the spell check on this site has it underlined in red because it does not know what it is!

APRIL FOOLS. Sorry but the above names were a little joke. How many racers thought to themselves "what the hell is he thinking with those names?"
The actual color names will be PLUM CRAZY PURPLE by Sam Levitch and GOLD RUSH METALLIC by Bob Roberts. Please email me your address and claim you free handle, any color you want.
Now I can say thanks for playing and mean it.

As a Mopar aficionado ... I definitely like both names. Plum Crazy goes back to the '70s and Gold Rush was introduced in 2020 on the Challenger 50th Anniversary models.
And, yes, I thought perhaps the years and years of soldering fumes had finally taken their toll.

I certainly new about the Plum Crazy origin, but not the gold rush name.
