Another neat looking chassis Mark. Is that big guide tongue steel? If I had built it, I might have had the pin tube hinges coming out the other ends of the hinge tubes for wider pin tube spacing. There are other ways to skin a cat too. Just add a third pin tube on the pans behind the back one closer to the pan's end.

Yeah the actually guide tongue is a cut down U-GO? tongue. and those aren’t pin tube they are just rod for the hinges. if I added my own I’d do some angled ones on the back to brace the thin pans. Maybe try to have them go to the main rails to double as up stops too.

I would see what Ron Hershman has in the Outasight line. Also check with Steve Foster the owner of the Santa Maria raceway to see what bodies he makes. PCH might have something too.

Thanks just bought two dynamic Porsche 907 repops same as that fogged green and yellow body.

In the 70s & 80s we never leaded droparms, just the front of the pans. We were using .040" droparms 1.25" wide, rather than the earlier ones which were narrower.
