Not much left of the original Scaleauto chassis; the chassis plate and the H-bracket. And you even shortened the nose of the plate.
I can appreciate the effort, but would you do it again?

No - I would not purchase a Scaleauto chassis as a starting point for our H-Bracket hardbody program. My current choice is a 2NASTE. The Scaleauto car was originally purchased many years ago. Four years ago, I upgraded it a bit but was never happy with the handling. The recent set of modifications included installation of a spare Scholer adjustable front end and a custom front pan. These last modifications improved the handling so that the final product is comparable to other chassis we use. The initial modifications are shown in the following slotblog post.

Editor's Note: My particular Scaleauto stock chassis did not have an adjustable height rear axle assembly. I took quite a bit of work to fabricate my own. Many rolling scaleauto chassis come equipped with an adjustable height rear axle assembly. Even so, the main drawback is the stock front axle assembly.
