The result here is that you have what appears to be a period correct motor, but with the advances of the FK series motors. There is a line of stupidity that can be crossed when restoring a period car to just play with, where you build a motor too hot to enjoy driving. This method stays short of that line, while being easy to build. I like it, and intend to try this myself. I like to run my old cars, but I don't want to fight with them.

Was kind of a toss up of what to do for me. I had perfectly working Hong Kong EBD motors in these cars that I don’t have to worry about and they work fine but are boring. all these hot arms and motor parts I have aren’t doing any good in a parts bin! and yes I drive all my vintage cars so I need the good brakes. biggest issue with this mod is you have Irreversible changes to can to make it work.

So for anyone that cares my FK eagle motor can and magnet shim works great! excellent brakes and motor runs cool with the most extreme mild gearing I could fit which is 9-35 I think.

LMFAO! I stuffed a falcon 1 into a Russkit 22. Forgot about it until reading this post. Necessity is the mother(s) of invention. And, like I always say: if I let not knowing what I was doing, I'd never have gotten.....
