Russkit offered this "Carrera" chassis under a few very nice bodies (Porsche 906. Lotus 40, Chaparral 2D, Mclaren etc.) and at the time they were the most competitive RTR cars around,..............still very popular with the vintage racing croud.

I had the Carrera version. For a short time it was the car to have, but the Manta Ray put an end to that.

My first commercial slot car in '67 was a Russkit Porsche Carrera kit. Except for the original body & motor, I still have sll the parts stored in Maine. I have its interior in a factory-painted Lancer Porsche.
