Good article. Indoor midgets are a great way to stretch out the racing season. I've never driven a midget in an event, but drove one around a parking lot. Great fun. Did drive a USAC sprint car on a dirt track, learned to use the go pedal to turn left. Indoor arena midget racing had a period of heavy action from the 1930s through '70s in the Chicago area.

Thanks guys!! Fellow slot car racer and teammate Joe Liguori won the midgets Saturday night, and we brought home a 1-2.
I cost myself the win the winged micro. A difference of opinions in the micro team lead to it being parked for Saturday.
